What do you use for you system hookup?

What do you use??? I use the high def av pack for my xbox (component video)

I have those red/white and yellow things. (whatever you call them) I really want a VGA adapter though. DC games looked so nice on my monitor.

Adam, this isnt my puter and I dont have my own so I dont have instant messanger. but if your on Live you can catch me on there ALL the time lol.

Finch those are called composite cables

there are 4 types of video hookups out:

* RF -the same cable used for cable tv, also known as coaxial these were used for the snes and all the old systems, they carry sound and video in 1 wire and overall SUCK lol

* Composite video - also known as AV hookups these are the most common hookups used, the sound quality and picture is better than RF, the yellow cable carrys video and the red and white carry left and right stereo sound respectivly.

* S-video - Also known as split-video this is a nice step up from composite, the video is split into color and black and white, the sound must be hooked up using other wires.

* Component video - Possibly the best hookup available these are even ahead of s-video, looking much like composite cables except for diffrent colors, these work by color, black, white all traveling through their own wires, sound must be hooked up by other means.

wow I know my stuff, I gotta quit reading websites and sunday ads....

Sonic does your tv have component or s-video? Trust me, for 20 dollars, its well worth it! Well worth it. the biggest thing about it is, The colors are way better, and when you play a game that is real dark, like morrowind on component, its way easier to see enemies and well, anything cuz its alot brighter. Not to mention the sharper resolution.

I have the AV pack hooked up with component cables and an optical wire for sound.
