Latest Movie Thread...

So post the last movie you saw. I'll start things off. Oh yeah...to make it a little interesting, rate the movie too, out of 10.

Hellboy 8/10 : good action and nice introduction to the world of hellboy...





Now I need to see

Kill bill2
The punisher
and Van helsing

8/10 as a chick flick! You see some 50 year boobies but pretty nice..;)

Grimm is that good, and whats it about again??? I know it has Washington in it, but I forgot what the movie was about?

Think a more realistic Punisher, but if you haven't watched that here's a bit of info:

Former government assassin, John Creasy, is down on his luck. Drinking steadily to drown the guilt, he takes on a bodyguard position for a rich family in Mexico city. Kidnapping is the premise of the story, as apparently it's big business (every 60 min someone is kidnapped) down there. He falls for the little girl (gives him his life back) but she is kidnapped and he is seeks his revenge. While slowly ******** to *****, he gains his revenge. I kinda agree with the IGN review that indicates the camera choices were a bit hokey, but altogether a good revenge/action movie.

Last movie I saw was Kill Bill Vol. 2. Overall I think the whole thing combined makes a great flick.

Other movies I want to see are The Punisher and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

The Punisher -666/100 , it sucked balls they had a shitty guy play the punisher and they didn't even take advatage of Travolta , he had lil lines and basicly no action scenes.

To some it might not be, I based that rating on the camera work and special effects... the over all feel of the film is great. The only thing I don't like about the film is that some scenes just arn't fun, I would be fine if they cut out all the non-story parts.

The reason for the 8/10 on Master and Commander is becuase I felt a lot of it was drawn out and the movie was way to long for the content it had in it, it could have been an hour and twenty minutes instead of the 3 hours it was.

The Punisher just sucked hard and anyone should be able to see why when they watch it.

HellBoy was cool and at the same time incredibly poinless, it just didn't have a good flow to it at all. If they re-wrote the script with some actual talented writers working on it, it would have probably turned out to be a good film. But it seemed like they just shot it out in a week to jump on the comic book movie bandwagon and grab as much loot as possible.

Master and Commander does indeed feel drawn out. I was pretty bored with it myself and have yet to finish watching it.

I give Van Hellsing about an 8.5 simply because it was alot of fun to watch!

Here's hoping Troy rates around a 9-10/10 when I watch it in the next day or so because I'm VERY interested in this movie!
