It was ALOT of fun to watch as long as you go into it not expecting a seriously intellectual plot but just an all out action fest. If you do you'll think it an 8-9 IMO.

Troy was a BIG dissappointment, i expected a 8-9/10 and i got a 5-6/10, even my GF who hadn't read the Illiad thought the movie was not that great, what a let down.

I just say Fahrenheit 9/11 today. That was a good movie, I think. I can see why a lot of people don't like it. I guess it all depends on your political stand point.

More like it all depends on whether you like being bold faced lied to by a pompous full of shit media phony presenting edited/hacked and pieced together shit as the truth. the guy doesn't use real statistics, real evidence, or real facts in what he says, it's pure sensationalist crap ment to trick the uninformed and preach to his choir.

To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery...

I'm not saying everything he says is the truth, but I like the movie for the simple fact that he attacks the Bush Administration. One thing that hardly anyone has the balls to do. Which makes this a good movie for the fact that I can't stand George W. Bush or his Administration.

I'd rather he spew his hatred with real evidence and facts to back up his POV, then I could tolerate it. But lying, misrepresenting facts, and deceiving ppl by using the "documentary" term just like his Bowling for Columbine which won the Best Doc of that year by the Oscars (even though it wasn't a documentary but full of BS lies) is beyond reproach in my book.

Why does everyone hate on Bush...I think he did a good job handling the suituation pretty good. Not sure why everyone s beating him down. But enough talking about it here, we should start a new thread, and leave this one to the movie reviews..:D

Shaggy, I agree with your EuroTrip score. :D That movie ROCKED! But a 9/10 for 50 First Dates? Am I the only one who thinks that was more of a chick flick than an all out Adam Sandler movie? I mean, it wasn't his worst movie, but it's definately not as good as it could have been.
