It has started!

Popped the first pill, I got the highest dosage possible, 1 40mg pill 2 times a day, went and bought a ton of chapstick to keep on hand, now I just sit back and shrivel up. The doc said for the first 6 weeks the acne could actually get worse before it really starts clearing up. Now I gotta get ready for my first job interview tommorow, hopefully I don't fuck up and not get the job, but the guy is nice and not some old fart so i'm sure he'll be cool.
 
I'm just gonna say it now, Sonic, Vic, DO NOT come fuck up my thread with your damn bitching, if you wanna bitch go do it in my other threads you've fucked up, just saying it now so I don't get some flack later about how I never said not to bitch in my threads.
 
Oh, I ment to also say that this medicine is EXPENSIVE!


Without inusrance it cost almost 800 bucks for a 1 month supply and I will be on it for 5 months! It costs us 100 bucks a month which is still way more pricey than most medicine, times 5 months now, and possibly a second treatment at another 5 months, damn!
 
damn that is some expensive medicine. hopefully it works as well as it should.

oh and you should post some "before pics" and in month or so, more pics so we can see how are you doing...and maybe we can even use your pics for a tv commercial!...and i have no idea who "we" are...:confused:

That's a good idea Vash, I actually look fairly normal, except really red and am still healing up, but boy if I post a before of my shoulders thats a WHOLE other story, that would be cool to see how much it helps, which should be quite dramatic, as this stuff will totally cure most people. Maybe i'll find the digi cam.
 
Way to go man ! lol, how soon should u start noticing any changes?
 
i want to see some before/after pics to see if this stuff really works as well as it claims to.
 
also we will be able to appreciate all of the side effects from a safe distance :P
 
hey ice knight i was just now on this website and it had a link about accutain. so i clicked it and it said some of the possible side effects were suicidal thoughts and tendencies. stay away from open blades! :lol:
 
Eh, well I'm not sure what you are taking but the pill doesn't do shit for me unless I also use Differn or something. And it took me about 6 weeks to get cleared up.

If yours is a pill only, and it works great, then I might have to switch cuz I hate washing my face 3 times a day then putting shit on it then taking a pill... Just a pill would be nice.
 
shane you should read ice's other threads...... he's taking some really strong acne medicine called accutain (sp?). it's apparently the strongest acne medicine on the market, and he had to get tests and shit to make sure the medicine wouldnt seriously hurt him physically. it's pretty powerful stuff.
 
and it can make your penis fall...or was that just some of the fake side effects??? :confused:
 
Ya it's a pill I take twice a day. My doctor gave me the highest dosage available even, for about 6 weeks it could actually get worse, for some it will start getting better right away, it just depends. I just took my second pill so far, I have a slight headache now, it could be a side effect of the pills who knows...

The stuff works different from most acne meds, it doesn't just try to dry your skin out and heal up the acne you have, Accutane actually helps to "shut off" acne, not only does it dry you out like crazy but it will actually shut down the acne, or atleast put a dent in what causes acne. It's because of the way it works it can kick peoples ass, most meds dont do anything to stop it, they just help get rid of it as it comes. I have it pretty damn bad on my shoulders so i'm syched to see how it goes, I mean right now it looks like someone shot me in the back with a shotgun.

I got a ton of chap stick stuff and have lotion on hand, this stuff is sposed to dry you out like crazy. While using this medicine you can also get sun burned very easily, because it basically makes the protective layer of skin peal off, thus you burn like you fell into the sun.

Can't wait till I get cleared up some damn jesus hell i'm sore from my skin exploding! ;)
 
lol dude post a pic of your back. im almost afraid to see it the way you talk about it... hopefully the meds clear it up.

If you can believe it the camera makes it look worse than it actually is, even if it's a spot healing up and is really light colored it makes it look like a blood-red wound, but that's still not saying it all looks like shit. Hopefully in a few months I won't even look like the same person as most of this shit should have stopped and started healing up, I probably will have to make a visit to a plastic surgeon and get some of the wonderful treatments that help make scars go away done, but the scarring shouldnt be toooo terrible at all, just looks like fuck now.

I'm still pretty red from all the topical medicine Ihave been rubbing on my face for a few years, that should also go away soon.
