What is the last, or current, book you have read?

For me it's Jurassic Park. I said I had just started it at XBLG a week or two ago, but I am on page 276 and it is a great book! I never like to read, at all, because 90% of the books I have read (all due to school) have been about some family trying to get through the depression and some struggling kid, or some gay crap like that no one wants to read. We finally got a good year of books, and the first one is Jurassic Park by Michael Chrichton. I suggest everyone pick this one up ;) We are due to read Timeline in a few weeks, which I hear is good as well and is Michael Chrichton too.

It is very hard for things to keep my attention, let alone a book, and this has done it. Only the first 4 Harry Potter's have done that otherwise :scrump: yes, Harry Potter, they are good books. This book gets a 10/10 so far

Yes, a very good book, I love it too, The lost world is also really good, these 2 books so blow away the movies, and if you've seen the movies read the books also, they are way way diffrent and far better!

i read and loved the first 4 harry potter books.

latest book ive read is journey to ixtlan. strange book centered around hallucinogenic plants basically. it's the 3rd book in a trilogy, the first book is 'a separate reality'. it's told in diary form about a man that goes to visit an Indian mentor and just talk about... strange stuff. dont really know how to explain it. pretty good though.

latest book: harry potter: the order of the phoenix
the best one yet! it's great, really, b4 reading this one my fave was Prisoner of Azkaban, but this one is 100000 times better!

I just finished reading "Halo: The Flood" it's the sequel to "Halo: The Fall of Reach" and it pretty much details what happens throughout the game from various angles in a much more intricate way. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one!

Both books rocked, I read the first one before the Xbox debuted, and can't say enough about how much I love Halo's story. I'm considering reading some of Tom Clancy's work as I've discovered after reading these books that I REALLY enjoy reading stories about war, covert ops, advanced military tactics, and the like.

Anyone know enough about Clancy's work to recommend a good starting point into his stuff?

I'm almost halfway through Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King.

Vicman I never really got into Tom Clancy but you might like Stephen Hunter. His book The Day Before Midnight is about an attempt by a rogue Russian military group to take over an American nuclear missile silo.

I've read enough of Rainbow six to say that it's really good and may be be a place to start.

I read the back of my hot fries bag. It has many a ingredients. Several sitting times to read this shit. I'm currently on Ch4 Pt 7 Column 3 Line 9. Andy Capp's is a great writer.

I have to read this book in the coming months, I hope it's good.

I wanna read the new Harry Potter, but it will be hard for me to find time when I am reading huge books for school.

I like it so far. It has strong ties to The Gunslinger/Dark Tower story wich is why I bought it. It kind of reminds me of Insomnia to but the writing in this one is far better.

The Last thing i can remember reading was probably, The Spider-man Clone wars or one of the Archie Sonic The Hedgehog comics. And mebe some dark horse stuff like Usagi and buffy. I'm not really into novels except for comics but i haven't read alot lately even though i did alot back in the day. Though i did learn how to speed-read from playing online games and reading the messages ;)

Last thing i probably read was the latest issue of GMR magazine.

Dark Horse eh? I give them much credit for Concrete: Strange Armor. That is a story that really deserves to be on the big screen.

I like them mainly because unlike Image(Who has spawn) they have more interesting stuff instead of marvel wanna be's an originals. All image has imo is spawn.

Plus they have: Buffy, Usagi(the rabbit from TMNT), Soon to have Berserk, Hellboy, Star Wars, and tons of other worthwhile stuff. I think i still have an old black & white news paper style preview of upcoming comics from back in the day.

Image also has The Savage Dragon. Union was well done to but on a limited series.

I actually haven't read any comics in a few years. Marvel decided to shit all over a bunch of continuity and great character development so they could have more issues on the shelf with #1 on it. The last comic series I read were Preacher and Concrete.

I just finished the entire novel of Jurassic Park about five minutes ago :) Let me say that this is an awesome book, I am gunna go rent the movie after dinner for good ol' times sake
