Xenogears!

Since I recently got Xenosaga, and just played 7 hours of it straight, I'm thinking that once I beat it I'll be jonesing for Xenogears, since I never actually finshed the game. I'm like that w/ RPG's, play for 30-40 hours and near the end, I put 'em down because I don't want to beat 'em just yet. Then months (or years) go by before I pick 'em up again. So I'm considering doing a review of both games assuming my college load doesn't kill this plan.

So keep an eye out, Xenogears might be the next "NGG Retro-Review"! :cool:
 
Yeah, get a review up, cause I have no clue what this game is about. (Never even heard of it.)

Everyone seems to think it's like one of the best rpg's ever made, but I dont have it, plus I cant stand playin ps1, god those visuals are hard on the eyes......

Whatever man, there where some sweet 2D/3D hybrid games on the PSX. If you want hard on the eyes look at the N64, yech!

Im not dissin the games, some of them are just awesome, it's just the hardware that drives nuts, lol. I love some of the stuff on the system, some of it is so unique and new. But I just dont like playin it cuz of some of the technical crap, The big one I think is called flicker, like in Gran turisimo when your racin the textures bend/flicker and do weird ugly crap. And also the stuff like when textures "twist around" like when your going fast and the ground seems to hop around, I cant explain it, to weird to describe. And also how low res and blurry/pixely some stuff is, just makes me queasy.......
