Xbox getting Live enabled 2d fighters

Guilty Gear XX is nice but the series is too much of a button masher for any serious play on my part. What I'm hyped about is SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom!
 
ive never played guilty gear but im surprised that you call it a button smasher vicman. i hear of a lot of people claiming the guilty gear series to be the most technical fighting series out there.... i figured it wouldnt be a button smasher.
 
It definately is. I have the first one foir the DC and believe me it's so easy for button mashers to woop up on a vet simply because you can pull off tons of moves with random button mashing. The game is very over the top & easy just like the Marvel VS. Capcom series. That doesn't mean that the game doesn't have alot of merit and isn't fun because it is but as a serious fighting game IMO it does not qualify.
 
I'm not a huge fighter buff myself, although the Powerstone and Super Smash series's stole a small part of my life away. What I would do for a new Live enabled powerstone with vehicles and dynamic levels like 2!

I don't think DOA3 is a button masher because I don't get pwned by button mashers in it. They can't even win rounds on me either so it does not qualify as a button masher to me.
 
People who button mash in DOA3 can get owned by counter moves, especially with either of the wrestler characters.

Hey are you gonna get Guilty Gear XX also? I use to want DOA Online a lot but now it'll be easier on my wallet if I just get Guilty Gear XX instead.

And I agree DOA3 button mashers can get owned by counter moves and stuff.
 
It has nothing to do with any speed crap it has everything to do with button mashing and pulling off over the top screen filling moves that are total BS. MVC while fun is a button masher.
