What games are you getting this year (or the early of next)?

I'm probably going to be broke for a while, unless I can get some good deals. These are the ones I plan on getting if everything is released on time (Most will probably be pushed back or canned... just my luck.) I already have Fable, Halo 2, DOA: U and DOOM III Pre-Orderd.

Why will you be going broke? Didn't you get your Xbox modded after all? BTW how did that go?

Not well. :( But I really don't mind buying games anymore, I just pre-order now and make $5 payments on them a week until they are paid off. Plus 99% of the games I have got have been $20 or under and I don't mind spending that much.

Forza motorsport, if it's 60fps. Considering DOAU but my money is on Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory. I want to check out Doom 3, but for me, third person shooters without a keyboard and mouse, just don't mix. Can't get the hang of aiming with analog.

What happened? Didn't the auto-installer work right? Or did you guys mess up and/or get a clone modchip and have it die on you?

Dude mine's been modded since early summer. I've got about 5-6 games and haven't gotten more because I'm happy with what I'm playing right now: ESPN NFL 2K5.

Na that one worked fine, it was on his box. Mine didn't install correctly becuase I didn't have the right wire to soldier it in with. So I eventualy gave up and havent got a solderless chip yet.

It's pretty obvious what most xbox fans are gonna get this year. Halo 2. The Halo series is the best and no other games can match it.

Buy a Xenium Ice w/ solderless adapter from that store, because it's the best and most trustworthy modchip seller I've dealt with, and follow the installation instructions found here:

You'll need to get an auto-installer, I prefer Slayer's Auto-Installer, after you've put in the modchip and uploaded the bios to the chip. You can find those in the xbox section of the games section of http://www.suprnova.org/

With that Modchip...do you need a gameshark disk to start your games. Well the modchip I have on my PS2 needs to have that first. Does yours work like your playing the normal game?

Gamesharks are only necessary on PS2's. You don't need them on modded Xbox's because the whole modchip issue, Xbox vs. PS2, is totally different since the Xbox is in essense a restricted PC, while the PS2 is more like your older game consoles. With a PS2 you're just bypassing their read protection while with an Xbox you are installing a whole new BIOS and dashboard for the motherboard to work with. It's like night and day IMO between the way you mod and mess with an Xbox vs. all other consoles.

Unless you're not a first person shooter fan, and dislike Halo's art style. Since that's the case with me, I think Splinter Cell series is by far the best on Xbox.

halo 2 and fable. i would get half life 2, doom III, and a few others, but since i have a nice PC now ill be downloading all that good stuff on there instead :D
