What are your pet peeves??

For me, it is quite alot:
Hate noisy eaters, especially those moron who slurp their soup loudly.
Hate tailgaters while driving
I refuse to use public bathrooms, and when I do, I use plenty of those liitle ass gaskets things.....
hate noisy talkers in movie theatres.
Hate people who talk on the cell phone loudly in public, or in the car....

I sure I have more, but my mind draws a blank right now..

Damn, you hate tailgaters too? There are times when I want to slam on my brakes, on purpose, then step out of my car then crack the driver over the face with a bat.

Also, loud noises in general. And being awoken, by someone or something for no reason.

Ah I'm not gonna rattle my brain over the myriad of stupid shit ppl do that gets on my nerves, but it all boils down to general rudeness and disrespect for your fellow man. Too man ppl are full of shit and only think of themselves. I find myself feeling more and more unrelated to the youth these days as they are the most disrespectfull assholes that need a good asswhooping I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. Too many spoiled brats that grow up to be punk bitches. More kids need to learn some serious discipline and respect, too bad parents are either afraid to do it or are punk bitches themselves and pass on those same trashy traits to their kids.

Could not have said it any better, Vic. These punk arsed kids nowadays really make me mad. They deserve a good old fashioned beating, like being shipped to a milatary base, or something....
But, you have to admit, that we were like that too when we were that age.....
And I agree, how these kids act reflects on their parents....

I wasn't like that when I was a kid. Sure I acted up and got a bit cocky from time to time but I didn't act like a complete asshole or totally unfraid of consequences, because I got my ass beat if I even tried. Kids just aren't afraid of adults these days, they think they can get away with murder and more often than not they do! You can't even discipline your kids these days because they know that they can run to a councellor or call a hotline and have your ass arrested with little to no evidence that you're abusive. We've gotten so protective as a culture that we've forgotten the balance between the extremes of child abuse and absolutely no discipline. Good parenting requires the child respecting you, and sometimes that means physically letting them know their place.

I was the same way. When I used to act up, I got disciplined. And I rather enjoyed it too, if you know what I mean....

I blame rap music for part of the hate and crime that it instills into these young kids....
And I used to laugh at these Senators trying to make a name for themselves by blaming video game for violence in the media. Remember the heat that Night Trap for sega cd caused?
How about Primal Rage being pulled from best buy because some mother bought it, completely ignoring the rating, and then was shocked by it violent contents....

The world has become so poltically correct, that tv shows cannot even talk about certain issues that were present in "All in the Family" for example.

I know that I went a little off topic, but this has always mistified me...

Ah, yes. I experience that very description everyday. Unless you really like books, never work in the circulation area of a library. I get that crap everyday, and it's not just from college students. We had a person today that made a big stink about a copy machiner toner blot when she photocopied a page out of a book. She even stated that one of my co-workers would never get a promotion because we wouldn't help her out/replenish her lost dime.

EDIT: I just thank the gods my dad beat the "shit" out me with a leather belt, teaching me respect at the same time.

I hate ppl who stop at yellow lights when it changes RIGHT in front of them. a car length ahead of them especially when the speed limit is 45mph and i'm behind the person a carlength and half from them. thats how i got in my accident yesterday ;\

Half the time when people stop at them frigging yellow lights in anticipation of being caught by those cameras, it usually does more harm than good. I have seen accidents as a result of moronic drivers stoppinf suddenly to avoid being caught.

Most people in Maryland agree that those cameras are worthless. And some group of people, don't know where, are actually attempting to sue Dept of Transportation saying that "the lights turn red quickier in order to catch runners."
