We Need A Superbowl Thread!

who do you guys want to win it, carolina or the pats? im not a fan of either team really, but i think today's game will be pretty exciting. wonder if the carolina D will be able to shut it down like they have been in previous games....

it's pretty cool hosting the superbowl in houston this year. my dad and i went downtown the other day for NFL experience, a big convention where you can meet football players, cheerleaders, check out all the activities they have there, etc. it was pretty awesome except there was a lot of traffic. i can only imagine it downtown today.

well im off to work at 10:30 and ill get back at 4. luckily they didnt stick me on the afternoon shift today...
 
Go Patriots!...... I'm not a big sports fan either but if I had to choose a team for this superbowl then the patriots...
 
I really don't care which team wins, my pool only goes by points not the team. :) But I would like the Panthers to crush the Patriots becuase I think Tom Brady is a pretty boy bitch and he just pisses me off for some reason.

But in all reality the Patriots will probably have the Panthers for lunch, even though I wouldn't like to see that. Nothing is really going to get me as exited about a Super Bowl after last year, it kinda spoiled me.

which rock are you living under??? lol. maybe it's moreso in houston since it's being hosted here, but all that's been on the news for a week is superbowl, superbowl, superbowl.

anyway, just got back from work and am about to head out to a friend's house. i dont really care which team wins but it'd be nice to see carolina pull an upset. after all, new england won the superbowl what only 2 years ago? they've already gotten their 15 minutes of fame. i think it'd be cool for a young team like carolina to get a taste of superbowl victory.
 
all right, well all in all i thought it was a pretty great game. at least it was close and went down to the last seconds. it's a shame carolina came so close, but the patriots just played a better game today. i was hoping vinaetari (sp?) might miss that last field goal like he had earlier, but he's a great FG kicker.
 
At my Super Bowl party we all were hoping for overtime! Other than that disappointment it was a good game overall.
