It looks as though it will be a long time before I get XBL, due to where I live.

My question is, is UC a good game in the single player mode? Should I get it?

It might be one of the worse single player games ever...only because it\' was designed for MP.

Only problem I have with Unreal championship is the amount of pompous morons on XBL that play this game.

I played UC offline for a month ('cause I didn't have LIVE hehe) but for me it was a lot of fun 'specially against Godlike (with the instagib mutator) bots, thery are insane, insane I tell you!

It's not even a good game online, IMO.

Don't get it if you arn't going online. because the multiplayer (4 player) is brutal. The framrate drops to like 1 frame per second.
