Just saw this movie myself, it was good over all, but it fell through mythology hell.
Time to Nitpick:
1.)Uhm, Vampires don't see their reflections in mirrors
2.) Your not allowed to spell Vampire like this -> "Vampyre" unless it's a really old book!
3.)Why do Vampires, the living dead who have to walk at night, need flashlights on their guns when the power goes out?
4.)Where is the use of super strength? Ok so the elder used it like mad and maybe Selene like one time! Break down some damn walls!
5.)Yer phricking undead one cut shouldn't be that much of a beyotch to revive from especially that, though it could have been a plot device for the male character to sort of figure out what she is...
6.)Guns suck! I want some Ninjas when there are things like vamps and wolves!
I think the movie seemed alittle unbalanced if both are to be Equal. First of all, most werewolf mythology follows the rule of there needing to be a full moon to change, the werewolves could at will but there was a low display of vampire super stregth??? And no super agility with the except of jumping off high areas. Plus the vampires seemed more like a biologically upgraded human vs. the old school undead theory. The Werewolves acted like Vampires somewhat by needing to bite, but most movies again make it stuff like scratches. And if it was balanced, silver bullets would have been fair game for werwolves, even the upgraded ones didn't do anything, even though werewolves are still human and can be shot up. Just my personal opinion, i'm picky on mythology of stuff like this because when done a certain way i think it would make movies better. Feel free to discuss.
