Tremors: The Series-WTF is Sci Fi THINKING?

Ok im sure all of you have seen the classic movie Tremors with the graboids and the sequel where they evolve and can walk and the third where they can fly. It was a decent movie and everything but making this into a series? is sci fi seriously smoking more crack then any crackhead anyone has ever seen in there life?

If im correct this will more then likely be one of the shows to replace Farscape which sci fi foolishly cancels claiming it costs more money to make, then they are making off of it. They even canceled the invisible man which was a decent show and had an actual chance. Farscape has 11 Episodes left and now another new show called Tracker is airing tonight, and the vampire from Forever Knight is in it even though thats a good old school show who is going to have any interest in this?

I say the show will last a couple of weeks and sci fi is mocked for the idiotic mistakes. Bring back The Invisible Man! And It would be cool if another company like UPN actually picked up Farscape but if i am correct they already destroyed all the sets. :sad:

You sure it is the same thing? they seem to be advertising it like it's totally brand new. The only interest in it would be the guy who played the detective vampire from forever knight. But i can pretty much assume its going to be crap even from the preview lol.

I don't understand what urges them to pick up crappy shows. And the funniest thing is, how alot of sci fi shows like charmed, buffy, angel, and others would be perfect for re-runs on the sci fi channel but they just starting to figure out the X-Files and Roswell will actually get viewers. My god there stupid, jeez in the beginning when we first got sci fi i was like this is awesome all stuff i like and now it's just crap. I mean there made for tv movies are retarded and they rarely do anything cool. The last thing half decent i remember was them airing evil dead 3 with some of the cut scenes and maybe the fact that they play important movies in widescreen.

That looks like the guy from the commercial but i could have swore during the commercial the announcer says: With "insert guys name here because i can't think of it right now" from Forever Knight.

I believe the sci-fi board of directors is a bunch of retards involved in a science experiment. Literally. Drooling all over themselves. Wearing head protectors. I mean... they canceled Farscape, their ONLY good show. Yet they have SG-1 running several times a week. And now... Tremors: The Series. Thats great. I can't wait for the return of Buck Rogers!
