The Troubled Production of LXG...

Damn that sucks...

I didn't like how they kept saying stuff like "...the more obscure Peta Wilson" or "obscure Shane West" and crap. So what if they are not as known as other celebs? This is a good way for them to get noticed and they may have more talent than other actors/actresses.

Connery doesn't seem very proffesional about it.

Anyway I still say they could have done a better job with the villain. Cast David Warner or someone with good lines who can deliver them well.

FOX had a reasonable stradegy going after a big name to play the main hero and leader of the group but they didn't have a bad guy to match him.

I haven't watched it yet, but it looks average. I can't see it being worse (IMO) then the other soon to come summer block buster "Bad Boys II" which has to be one of the worst movies ever made, I haven't seen it either and I already know it's crap.

Kind of like a heavily bulked up version of Robert Deniro's portrayal of Frankenstein.

Ohhh. I see. Isn't Hyde suppose to be shorter than Jekyll though?

I don't recall that in any version of Mr. Hyde. He's just the manifestation of Jekyll's repressed darker side set free, however you care to interpret that.

Oh, it's just that in the book Hyde was smaller than Jekyll so I thought he would be like that, but whatever :D

It's been to long since I read the book to remember stuff like that.

Oh, I see. I read the book like 2 months ago though in English; it's a better book than I thought.

I liked the movie just how it was

Well I'm not trying to bash the movie here. Just giving constructive critisism. Apparently even the director thinks there were problems with the movie.
