The official controller argument thread.

Let's get things started bout whitch 'troller is "best" I think they are all pretty nifty except for the dual shock, to plain, no triggers, weird stick location etc. I really am starting to dig the Cube one more and more each time I use it, fits like a glove, decent button design and layout, a bit wonky at first but good once your used to it. Although the z-button location sux bad, I woulda gone with 2 analog triggers under the handles aimed slightely to the center. The xbox one is best all around though, racing shooters etc. But this is my opinion ofcourse, and im sure some one will rip on me for not liking the dual shock, but whatever. :tongue:

I think the arcade stick is better then any controller
but best controller would be XBOX-S or N64

Hands down the Sega Saturn controller is the best for fighting games . I have a gamecube and I HATE the Cube's controller button layout! ****ing stupid ass hell. I enjoy the Controller-S but wish they moved the Black/White buttons to the top instead of underneath the regular buttons.

The oringinal Xbox controller. I Love it. Playstation and GC controllers are way to small. Can't fit all my fingers on it.

well I like the origional xbox and cube trollers pretty well, the button layout on the cube troller is pretty weird though. The 64 controller is a pos in terms of quality, those sticks wore out in a week..........

The Black & White buttons suck on both versions of the Xbox controller, the Z button on the GCN controller is in the worst place possible and the PS2 controller shows the lengths Sony is willing to go for a new design on the newest gaming product. Which I think is sad because that thing hurts the hell out of my hand after a good gaming session. Every one of them has a downside, this argument will be over once they decide to take the best parts of each of the 3 and make one mega controller that will rule the world! Muahahahaha!

I like the XBox design for FPS but I think Playstation is better for fighting games.

Racing games are my favorite, so controllers with shoulder triggers are the best. For fighting games, I still like the SNES controller, but wished it had a 6 button layout.

Yeah well i didnt brake it......I also like the dreamcast controllers ,when no one liked em i lovef the thing,also i like the xbox controller when ppl say its too big , but it fits nice in my hands...
