The new OXM!
I got mine yesterday, it has some cool vids of Halo and Jade Empire among other things. The mag has some nifty info on new games including mechassault 2.
The Halo 2 vid has a wee bit of new ingame footage also, there's alot of decent new info, but i'm making this post mainly for the demo's.
Suprisingly The Suffering demo is much better than I thought, it's not incredible but I actually played the demo till the end. I thought this was gonna be really crappy myself.
Next, the new Bond game demo is pretty awesome, 2 full levels to play. The first your rapelling down a huge building as it's blowing up stopping on cat walks to complete minor objectives to continue down. What i'm really amazed at is the animations and variet of movements, the coolest is shooting around a corner with your back to the wall. You just auto target your enemy and when hes reloading or moving for cover tap the fire button and James automatically twist half way around the corner and shoots, if you take fire stop firing and he swings back around the corner, you can shoot again etc. But it looks like a friggen movie to see it happen. I guess the reason I think it's so cool is cuz you never get to see james moving around in the first person ones.
Overall graphics are very decent, And charecter models are really nice, James looks so much like Pierce it's scary, thanck you head scanning.
the second level your chasing Jaws on a motorcycledown a freeway, fairly well done also, great sense of speed. but the steering is a bit to touchy and the rockets on the bike are pointless.
I may actually buy the game on release, it even has 2 player co-op through the main game!
