The new guy...

Well I personally dislike all "hi I am new" threads because you take all the effort to welcome the person, then you never see the ****er again. i am not promising this wont happen here, but I like this place, so I might stick around for a while.

I guess I will tell ya something about me...I am in the us army, I have been stationed at Darmstadt germany for about 1 1/2 years, I have recently been deployed to Iraq. I have been here since march. I am the a mobile phone company for the army, I provide phones and the internet to a brigade sized element.

I spend 8 hours on the internet per day, thats when i am monitoring my equipment and I don't have a choice.

thats about it, you can call me a newbie now.

Thats kind of like my job. I run a television master control room broadcasting awful late night TV. :sick:

Like SC385 says, stay safe over there. Hopefully Saddam will follow his sons soon.
