The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

It's 1898 and Britain on an alternate Earth requires specialized assistance in matters most important to the Crown. An anti-gravity element has been stolen by parties unknown, and a team of agents is chosen to uncover the mystery and recover the material. As for the agents that make up this League, they should be very familiar to readers on our world... Based on a comic book.

This looks like an interesting project that could succeed where Wild Wild West didn't quite make it. As for the League itself, it's members are comprised of characters from different novels including Mina Murray(Harker) from Dracula, Captain Nemo, Dr. Henry Jekyll and his counterpart Mr. Hyde, Tom Sawyer, and Dr. Griffing known better as The Invisible Man.

Bah, the site won't allow you to remote link. :sad: The movie will be good as long as it keeps it's classical feel like the comic. I'm happy so many comic adaptions are coming out and aren't sucking like people always thought they would.

I've heard of the comic before but I've never read it. However based on that trailer I think it looks like a very cool movie so far.

I also think Jason Flemyng is a perfect choice for Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.

Looks like a promo shot of how Ms. Harker will look in the film. She will be sporting some vampiric abilities in the movie from her encounter with Dracula.

Sean Connery fit's his part very well too. Of course alot of people will over look this film unless they either watched the comic or understand what it's about unless the preview didn't peak there interest.
