The Dark Tower is finally finished.

So Stephen King's The Dark Tower is finally finished. All that's really left is the publishing process and starting this Fall the rest of the series will start being released for a final 7 book series.

Considering all the subtle connections this series has with Stephen King's other books I am very curious to see how he concludes this. I wonder where The Dark Tower will finally be and what it will be like as well as the fate of Flagg.

It's actually been a while since I read many of King's books but it looks like it's a good time to return to this author's works. I guess it looks like I know what my next few reading projects will be now. Aside from rereading The Dark Tower 1-4 I think I'll also finally pick up Heart in Atlantis and The Black House wich I've heard also tie in with this story. Damn I may wind up reading The Stand again to.

The big one is the villain Randall Flagg. He is the enemy in The Dark Tower and The Stand. In Wizard and Glass the Gunslinger and his apprentices actually go into The Stand universe. A wizard called Flagg also turns up in The Eyes of the Dragon. Insomnia has many direct references to Levels of The Tower to.

I'm curious to see if the monster from IT could be from The Gunslinger's world.
