Game Developers Hiding Buffalo are looking for individuals to beta-test their new detective game Gumshoe Online.
Gumshoe Online is a point and click adventure game for the PC that transports the player back to the corrupt gangster-ridden streets of 1930's America. Played using a standard Internet browser, Gumshoe is available to anyone with an Internet connection. The game has been designed to appeal to Internet users, adventure gamers and crime fans alike. Compelling storylines and mind-bending puzzles recreate the 'film noir' feel of movies such as L.A. Confidential, The Maltese Falcon and Chinatown.
Iwan Roberts, co-founder of Hiding Buffalo, said, "The classic detective story is not one which has been seen in video games too often, but it's enormously popular in movies, books and on TV.
