Evil incarnate has always been a motivating circumstance for mankind's survival. Do we accept the inevitable, watching as the earth is brought asunder, or fight for whatever possible outcome is available?
Faye Winter didn't seem to think so. Orphaned at an early age, she was brought up by the local steward, raised as a lady of the court. It wasn't all candlelight dinners and aged wine, as the young Faye soon discovered a burdening growth of dark powers. Escaping the lap of luxury, she wanders the lands as the king's personal agent, exploiting her powers to undo the wrongs of the world. During an age of knowledge and exploitation, she is a haunted being, feared by those who see her as twisted, the Devil's plaything, and hunted by those of an envious nature, who seek to use her powers for the dark sciences, otherworldly and sick. Jack Walters is having a bad day. Once a no-nonsense cop, he would have laughed in your face if you had told him aliens were talking over the earth. Strange what first-hand experience can do to a person. Investigating a routine disturbance turned out to be quite the life-change for Detective Walters, as a mysterious house proved to be the boon of a mighty strange occurence.
