So who has gotten GTA3: Vice City?

Anyone? I want to hear some impressions on it, even though I do not own a PS2. If it sounds good enough I will annoy a buddy of mine (PS2 Owner) to pick it up so I can play it. :)
 
ok ya mine broke, and Im not ANTI anything even though I like Xbox better. I just do. But My friends have it and I knew alot about it before they even got it, and I haven\'t played it yet. But oh man they wouldn\'t shut up. IT is awesome. Get Chain Saws, more weapons, the cops are harder on you, you can talk to the pedestrians. Steal motorcycles go in buildings, golf cars, corvettes, lamborghinis...oh man its tight! Jump outta ya car when the car is still moving...stuff like that you couldn\'t really do in GTA3! Ya the guys really violet and talks. YEAH ACTUALLY TALKS, LOL! Cops come out of helicopters, you can fly helicopters this time, and stuff. I could go on and on. This is good, and so far I have heard all good new, and NO bad news. So let your friends get it, I would recommend it. Well tell um to get it if they haven\'t pre-ordered, if they haven\'t pre-ordered, then there outta luck cuz they\'ll be gone, (depends), so it might be Ebay time...lol...later! Hope this helped a bit! :D
 
Its better than gta3 but not much different. like he said above, you can do all of that stuff. its cool. i rented it, but it is a definite buy:thumbup:
 
about the same a little different? Come on snake...lol! I haven\'t played the game and its awesome. Pop wheelies, but houses, get golf carts, kick people on when on bike. Go through buildings get chain saws, knieves etc. Its way better. But based on the \'80\'s you should get it if its not out of stock. there are places but it is awesome. It is so awesome it got ALL 10\'s FOR THE RATINGS! IT IS DEFINATLY A BUY! Buy helicoptors, more cars. OH MAN I DON THAVE IT AND I KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT IT! Corvettes, and everything! Rollerblading...etc...gangs...DONT BELIEVE WATCH THE VIDEOS WITH THE LINK BELOW!




if it doesn\'t go to the movies directly its at the top and says \"movies\" click on that and there on the mid screen and click on um and ur set! :D
 
houses for vicecity

I aint got the game either but i hear that you can BUY HOUSES and park yer car in the garage. and go inside yer house. I dont know if this is true? do any of you know if you can. and my friend said that you couldnt talk to peds but i dont know?
 
yeah u can buy houses wit garages and you can save your game at them but not really talk to pedestrians, maybe once in a while!!
 
If you haven't played the game yourself please hold off on all the accolades. I stood in line the day it came out. I took it back after 2 weeks because it was too much of the same thing.

Yes they have added little things here and there and yes the voice acting, music, style is tight but at the end of the day it's still the same buggy gameplay w/ piss poor graphics. I might buy it again come spring just for kicks but It was not the end all be all GOTY it's hyped up to be. It's a fun game but IMO not a great game.
