SkyFinch's art thread.

If u guys can afford a wacom, buy one for sure. Both those drawings would have taken be at least 2-3 days to complete with a mouse. With the wacom, I was done both in about 3 hours.

Best thing is that you won't even need the mouse anymore. (I might want to by a larger tablet though. The one I have is like 4i by 6..something like that.)

Oh my god dude.. The next report I do is on you, get ready to answer some emails. Jesus, I wish I would have known of you last year when I did the "my favorite artist" report! Jesus. I swear you and smurfboy inspired me. I think I've improved by like 3x since the beginning of the school year. I spend my whole day drawing. Lol, I drew a cool Guile/Simpsons character the other day but it got screwed up when I had to draw the hands... Sadly I can only draw fists and rock-on signs. Let me just say those drawings are unbelievable, all of them. I gotta get myself a scanner ;)
 
Thanx for all the compliments everyone, especially the ones who find my art inspiring.

No use4 a name, hands are incredibly hard to draw. I don't know why....maybe it's because we tend to worry about the overall figure and pose, instead of what is equally important, which are hands, feet...secondary elements. I've gotten better at drawing them, simply by using the basic shapes. I start off with circles and cylindars, to get the overall shape and the hand and fingers. Once everything looks right, I then begin to add the details, like finger nails. Gets easier with every drawing.
Hope you can somehow get that Guile/Simpsons character up. :)
 
Very cool. That kind of reminded me of Spawn to. Probably because of the skull on the chest.

Skyfinch should be doing comic book covers! :rock:

Yea i remember Ice Knight not being able to get a pic to begin with, i figured this was in placement with the other drawings of members. Yea man you should be doing comic covers, damn idiots who can't see awesome art.:cool:

Maybe I'll submit a picture. May take a while though because my camera sucks. Either way I think it's fairly obvious I'd like to have some kind of electricity theme :rock:
