Splinter Cell is multi and it looks great, why can't this?

Damn straight akuma! ALL games should have the love, effort and production values like Splinter Cell does. Devs like Activision need to pay some fricken attention. Even ps2 games can look pretty decent if the dev tries.

It's being developed on the PC like all games are, then being put on the consoles. They CAN do a lot more with games then they are doing. Ubi set the bar pretty high and developers need to begin to follow in Ubi's footsteps or be left behind with inferior products.

Splinter Cell was made on xbox first, what system is this being built on? if it's on ps2 there not going to put the effort in when porting it.

"there not going to put the effort in when porting it." Thats the exact thing i'm talking about. Making the same game for several systems is smart buisness. But there is NO REASON why the ports have to look/play/everything like shi&, thats just the problem is devs (some/alot) are not giving a crap bout the products they are pushin for multiple systems. As we have seen with several multi-platform games, is that they can be totally awesome, and show none of the signs of what most ports do. Splinter Cell being a fuggin prime example, all games should be ported with that much care and effort. It doesnt matter what box of chips it was originally made for, all ports can and should be awesome, I stress only the port aspect, as the game can still be a load of shit&.

I don't expect much when it comes to Comic book - video game cross overs anyways. They work in fighting games, but the generic third person action type game always turns into crap, with horrible camera angles and repetitive gameplay.
