Request!...plz!

Hey! what? you have some free time? really? and you want to do something for me? ok since you want to do it I'll let you I want 2 things
one, to change the color of her lips (in both pics) to blue (dark blue with highlights and all)
and after that her hair...blue also (yeah I like blue...)
so there will be 4 different pics 2 with only the lips and 2 with lips and hair, I would do it myself but everytime I try it doesn´t look natural, actually it looks like crap lol, so I would really appreciate if someone can make it and look natural
thanks in advance!
here are the pics

thanks again

Do you know of any images that would give us a better idea of how you'd like the end result to look as an example?

just like in the second pic only that the lips should be blue...I don't care much about the hair (and I think that would be a lot harder)
so yeah, just like in the second one (you know, the look) but instead of red, blue ;)

I'll try making the hair and lips of the first one blue. Not sure how it will turn out...be back in a bit.

thanks skyfinch (and videodrome...since you showed interest in it hehe)
I'll check it out in a while

Okay since Skyfinch is doing the first one I took a crack at the second one.

Nice work Videodrome.

I had to desaturate her face slightly, cause it was too orange in the orginal pic.

Awesome! thanks a lot guys
oh and btw, how did you do it, which toold did you use? (so maybe I'll try and make one hehe)

I'm not sure how Videodrome did his..

for me, all I did for the lips was create a new layer, marquee a shape that looks like the lips, then shaded it completely blue. From there, I made it slightly transparent, so that I could see where the higlights and shadows were, then I just used the burn and dodge tools to make the blue layer more natural looking. I kept it slightly transparent, then I flattened the image.

For the hair, it was a bit more difficult. I duplicated the original layer...tinted everything blue (it;s in the IMAGE>>ADJUST>>Hue/ Saturation option. This will tint the entire image, but since it's on a new different layer than the original pic, it won't matter) Now, allI did after this was use the eraser tool , and erased the back ground and the face. leaving just the hair.

If you're good enough, you could go in a repaint the entire pic. This will make the everything look more natural...but that takes too long and requires a really steady hand.

it doesn't sound that hard...I may try it later...even if it looks like sh...did you use brush or pencil?

EDIT: uh...wait...I think you didn't use any of those lol

I might use one of the brush tools for clean up, like if parts of the hair still have bits of yellow showing through. It would most likely be the brush or airbrush tool. I practically never use the pencil, because the edge is too sharp.

The pencil is great for some things. like adding borders to an avatar. sometimes you just need that Sharp edge. BUt never for anything like this. Everything should be smooth. i'd use an eraser with a 50% exposure maybe? Maybe go as low as 30%

You could even use masking but thats making everything slightly more complicated.

I did it!...at least the lips lol
here it is what I managed to do

not that bad, huh...

I wonder who do you want her to look like... *stares at skyfinch's avatar*

it turned out purple instead of pink lol
still like it

I cant get the eyes right I want em to look red (yeah I'm weird...) so if anyone can find some time...

For the lips I just lassoed them and adjusted first with color balance, then hue, then brightness/contrast. I think I also did Fade-Effect.

For the hair I just used Replace Color and then added a little more blue in Variations. That is why the face has a very slight blue tint.
