total, it'll cost around 720 at googlegear.com. (the cdrw is from newegg though). that price is with a barebones, not all the components will be individually purchased.

until then, im on a PII 233 with a 4 gig hard drive that can barely run solitaire :no:
 
Earlier in the summer I was set on buying a new PC because this old AMD K6-2 500 MHZ, 128 KB RAM, 10 Gig HDD was pissing me off. But since I don't really game on my PC and I want a more theatre like experience for my DVD watching & console gaming, I've decided instead to buy a 50" HDTV w/ 1080i, split screen PIP, 2 component, 4 A/V, 2 S-video , 2 RF connections for around $1000 & a 5.1 Dolby Digital Home theatre system for around $200
