Peter Gabriel Live in Detroit
I managed to get good seat to see Peter Gabriel\'s Growing Up Tour on Tuesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit. Easily the best live show I\'ve ever seen. He had an openning act called The Blind Boys of Alabama who are a really good Gospel/Blues style band with amazing vocal talent.
The show also featured a very intricately designed stage that transformed several times throughout the show and made clever use of some video projectors. The song SkyBlue had both Peter\'s band and the Blind Boys singing backup. The show also had some new and old songs including Darkness, Red Rain, Sledgehammer, Mercy Street, Growing Up, Digging in the Dirt, More Than This, and finished with an encore of Family Snapshot.
