OMG...Xbox is making me moist.

It took a while but Xbox games are starting look incredible. Yes, even though I'm not a Halo fan, that one Halo 2 video made my eyes water. The doom 3 footage (not sure if it was Xbox or Pc) but if it was Xbox, it looks even better than Halo2 imo. THen there's Project Gotham Racing 2....the first game was why I bought Xbox in the first place. My god, this game looks better than any racing game ever made. The hell with SegaGT online. There is no way it can compete with this.

What I hate about a lot of car racing games is the fact that the control is always slippy-slidy all over the place. That sucks. Why can't car racing games have the schweet control that MGP has? I get tired of feeling like I'm racing on ice... :sick:
 
I've DLed the whole 8 minute Halo 2 video and I'm converting it from Quicktime format to Xvid Mpeg-4 format since Quicktime freezes/plays choppy as hell on my PC. I'll probably end up converting it, as well as the Doom III , Fable, & PG2 videos, to a VCD disk and show it off to my friends on my TV... :D

What? Cars wigging out and slipping around the track is realism? That isn't realism, that's BS overexagerrated physics. Top of the line cars have serious gripping power and don't go slip-n-slide like shitty cars do at top speeds...
 
Vicman, go pick up a sim. PGR has never been about sim, it's arcade style. And the way the Kudos point system was created, making PGR2 control like a sim would make the game a piece of shit.

HA, I finally got a page to load the halo 2 8min vid! OMG it's incredible! And all those other vids for the other games, I can safely say If I only by one console per generation of new system's it will be whatever microsoft puts out, gamecube and ps2 just can't even touch the games I have seen today! I think I watched the halo 2 vid for 40 minutes straight, what exactly is nintendo showing? Animal crossing 2? :D

I'm not just bitching about PGR, almost ALL car racing games control like an arcade racer. Sega GT is pretty bad for being a "Sim" and Gran Turismo is not too great either, the closest I've seen to real life was Yu Suzuki's Ferarri F355 (Arcade & DC)...
 
Did anyone see the half life 2 movies? I blew my load a couple of times watching those. I had to physically wipe drool from my chin. It looks way better than halo2 at the moment. but its almost fnished and halo 2 aint.

Yeah, I made this thread before I saw those vids. Half-life 2 even beats out Doom 3 imo.
 
I want Ninja Gadien , Halo 2 , Halflife 2, Fable, true fantasy online , Sudeki ,Enter the matrix i might rent or buy i dunno yet i am also thinking about getting panzer dragoon orta when the price is right ....!!!
