Will Ferrel who in my opinion was one of the funniest people on SNL left to start his movie career like many of the others. Due to most people beliefs that he wouldn't be funny, they were wrong!

Basically this movie is a comedy. Most people i'm sure, don't know what the hell it is about. What happens is a group of friends in their 30's are going through some serious and hard times. One of the main character's breaks up with his long time girlfriend then finds a nice house on a college campus. The thing is it's a really nice house and his friends decide to help him get over his ex-girlfriend by having this humungous party. Later on they find out the dean is a guy they used to pick on back in the day and the dean decides to re-posses the house because of the party they had which breaks some rules.

Meanwhile alot of other bad things are happening especially to Will Ferrel's character. Will end's up moving in with his friend and the other guy still want's to party. So they need a reason to be able to keep the house(they had 10 days to move). One of these way's was by starting a fraternity. The only thing is the fraternity is open to anyone even if they don't go to school. Some of the Pledges include a 40 year old guy, you average teenager, a 90 year old man named "Blue". From their it is a matter of time before the insanity begins. They are in there 40's and are popular among the kid's and the local neighborhood's.

This movie by far is one of the few comedy's that has some actual storyline and can retain absurd comedy throughout it. It's not one of those "what the hell kinda story is this?" movies, but can still be enjoyed by those who love those types also. Almost every funny part in this movie is freaking laugh until your brain explodes because some of it is so absurd. And Will Ferrel's character steals the movie.

Rating 5/5. Second best comedy after "Friday After Next" i have seen this year.
