Ok Wtf?

OK....My son brought home this demo and I tried to install it for him. I have windows XP and the back of the package says what the minumum requirements are Win 95 to run it. OK I go to install it and the stupid thing says I have to have Win 95 to run it. Im not a computer genuis but would'nt XP run anything that would run on anything older that itself.?????

M1 Tank Platoon2 demo that includes Falcon 4.0 demo. The date on the disk is 1998 if that helps. I dont care to play these games but my five year old is nagging me to death to play it.

it probly needs some sort of dos so it won't run . thats why win98 is actually still used today. *only reason i could think of anyways*

And I could be wrong but I think XP only handles 32-bit operations. Windows95 and 98 could handle 16-bit operations but I think all the later operating systems stopped doing that. If it's a 16-bit program I don't think it will run on anything past 98.
