Ok, sorry to keep brining her up but...

I just bought a VERY rare movie called \"You light up my life.\" It was made back in 1977...fortunately, I got the DVD version. Took me months for finally find a store that would order it for me.

Anyways, the movie stars...who else? Didi Conn, or \"Frenchy.\" This is a serious movie that was made before she did Grease. It features the Oscar winning theme song, \"You light up my life,\" (My god, now I\'ll have to learn this song and sing it to myself while I do Photoshop work.)

It\'s a very depressing movie about a young lady named Laurie Robinson, who is trying to make a name for herself, with her singing and song writing talents. Lot\'s of things go wrong for her during this movie, like breaking up with her furture husband and not being able to get a break during auditions.

Anyways, I\'m not recommending this movie to anyone. I just bought it because I\'m such a huge fan of hers. It\'s like having Frenchy in every scene. Sooooooo cute!!!! It\'s weird to see her in another movie cause I only seen her in Grease up until this point. She has the same high pitched voice and everything.

I\'m going to watch it again....and maybe get teary eyed like I did the first time I watched it. :shock:

I\'m going to be checking out a movie called Dancer in the Dark if I can find a place that has it for rent. Its not exactly an upbeat movie either but it comes recommened from other Bjork fans. Its stars Bjork as Selma, an immigrant who comes to American to earn money for an operation that\'ll save her son from the same heriditery blindness that she has.

I\'ve also heard some of the soundtrack for the movie wich was also composed by Bjork.

lol...3.6/10? I admit that it\'s not the best movie, but I think movies should be reviewed by people with an uderstanding of what they are about to watch. I\'m guessing some \"Starwars\" freak was the one doing the rating.
I give this movie a 6/10. I\'m taking 4 points off because Frenchy stays strong in the movie but breaks down and cries at the very last moment. I\'ll step on anyone who makes her cry!!! DAMN YOU!!!!


Vidoedrome, I had the same problem with this movie. I couldn\'t find any place that had it for rent, so I ordered it and bought it instead. Money talks and monkey\'s walk....BTW, I\'m going for a walk.

I admit Frenchy\'s kinda hot, in a Susan-Summers kinda way, but Catherine Zeta Jones is the hottest woman alive.
