Game Boy Advance SP-The future of handheld gaming looks brighter than ever, thanks to Nintendo. Building on the success of the spectacular Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP features a revolutionary Front Light Screen making game play easy in any lighting condition. Powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, you're good for about 10 hours of game play with only three hours needed to recharge. All current and future Game Boy Advance games are compatible with the new system, and just like the original GBA, GBA SP is backward compatible, allowing access to a massive library of games and accessories.

They stiffed all the GBA owners becasue they were too lazy to make a back lit one before.
