New OXM.

Got it, and the next issue is gonna have a full HALO 2 preview! Soon we will know all the modes and stuff, and new screens and stuff! sweet. And on the next disc it will have a Moto GP 2 demo.
 
I let my subscription to that crap ass magazine expire; I'm only going to pick the ones with good demos at the store. I don't feel like getting a Time Splitters 2 demo next Christmas in the mail or better yet another Halo demo on one of there "We didn't feel like doing anything for our subscribers so we rehashed our old demo discs and called it a best of demo disc".

Yes, we are on our 1st renew, we have been gettin them since launch, but we missed the december issue cuz our renewal got fugged up. I really wanna try the Moto GP 2 demo, after playing the first I just wonder how much better THQ can make 2, I mean, the first one was damn near perfect! I guess new modes are always possible.

Well I dont care as long as it has GOOD articles too ..Need something to read while

Their top ten plays of the month were so frigg'n lame. They went something like this..

#10 - taking the first turn in Moto GP without crashing.

#9 - pressing pause during the first quarter in nba inside drive

#8 - collecting heath in Halo.....





#1 - play of the month.....standing still and watching the idle animation in splinter cell.
 
OXM is a joke of a mag. It's demo discs would always take forever to load in my Xbox and the games would freeze and crash on me. Screw them and their POS half-assed lame mag. I'm glad half the staff left OXM and that a-hole Mike Salmon. :bam:
 
BTW Ice EGM had a preview of Halo 2 last November and I'll bet you that it has more info on Halo 2 then this new OXM will have! :sick:

I should check into EGM, whats some other good mags? How is nintendo Power? it's offical, and its for GC wich would cover all we own.
 
Gamers Republic had a nice look to it, and GameFan was pretty cool as well. But what the heck? With the internet, I haven't bought a videogame magazine in a long time. I used to buy GameFan, GamePro, EGM, Gamers Republic and the offical dreamcast magazine every month.

I'll only buy OXM if the demo disc looks any good. The actual mag...all 12 pages of it, is crap.
 
Sky, Play is a mag by Dave Halverson. The same dude who ran Gamers Republic and GameFan. Check it out, it's a kick ass mag.

IMO Gamer's Republic was one of the best mags in it's day. I still look at my old issues every now and then. :)
 
I like EGM and OXM, cuz I need demos to play cuz im to cheap to buy a game, but I cannot stand GameSpot, GMR, GamePro, etc. Their reviews are very messed IMO.
