new console in the works?

Oh, haha...never mind that thing... i saw that but i didnt care...its like a little hand-held game console...thing...but console style...not of the quality of a Game Boy or anything...but like a umm...Tyco thing or whatever...nothing big...but if its online...that may be a different story (maybe)... :D :pimp:

Yeah...like have a $30-$50 priced disk that has mancala checkers chess card games and stuff..then i would buy it...only if it was Live! enabled...or something... .. ... ..... but....only.... Sony...ripoff.. .. ..... so .. ... .... and thats why it would suck...so its just a bad idea to begin with... :D :pimp:

Speaking of new console...i heard that Nokia is comeing out with a handheld game system like the Game Boy Advance...but i dont remember wether its supposed to have the graphics quality of a Nintendo 64 or a little bit better than the Advance\'s...i think but oh well.... ...oh yeah ...*ahem* thanks for the info that i thought i didnt know but i did know.... :pimp:

I don\'t see why consoles aren\'t like VCR\'s or DVD players. There are a ton of brands and they all play the same material. The manufactures make the money on the machines instead of the media... opposite the gaming industry which looses money on the machines and makes it on the media.

akuma you think there are alot of crappy games now? well if there were lots of brands like u said there would be so much crap....

One mans trash is another mans treasure. Yes I do think there are alot of crappy games out right now. It\'s like a 15/1 ratio, I only own the title I felt were \"Triple A\" titles for the Xbox and Gamecube... I own 5 Xbox games and 1 Gamecube game... what does that tell you?

I hear ya, I dont get a game unless it\'s gettin great reviews and ppl are lovin it. lets see I own: DOA3, Halo, project gotham, Splashdown, SplinterCell, nascar thunder 2k2, nfl 2k2, Unreal Championship and Morrowind. 9 games not bad, there my bros also... If there were lots of diffrent systems the user base would be smaller for each, and that means less games sales and that means less profits for developers AND that means less AAA titles. whew thats a mouthful... :) 3 is the magic number i think. all though I consider the handheld market seperate that sure as hell could use some competition hint hint microsoft go tear up nintendo lol. hit em where it hurts....

No no no... not more game consoles with games speficific to each, I mean more game consoles with games that work on all.

Put it this way, you own a Toshiba DVD player... I own an Apex. You watch Lord of the Rings then let me borrow it... I can watch it on my Apex exactly as you can on your Toshiba. Different machines same movie. Software developers would make more then a bundle this way.

You're right. It will never happen, though.
