My fall line up for 2004 on the Xbox.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders (Xbox)
Star Wars Battlefront (Xbox)
X-Men Legends (Xbox)
Dead or Alive Ultimate (Xbox)
Mortal Kombat: Deception (Xbox)
The Bard's Tale (Xbox)
Halo 2 (Xbox)
Call of Duty: Finest Hour (Xbox)
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (Xbox)
Conker: Live and Reloaded (Xbox)

Probably wont get all of these games, but most.

Yeah, that is a lot of games. Out of all of those, I'll be picking up DOA:U just for the graphics alone. DOA3 still amazes me. Conker also looks incredible, but I probably won't pick that up. Splinter Cell 3 has been delayed till next year, so that will be joining Forza. So other than those, I may check out Outrun 2.

Yeah but guess what applebutt, if the game's not up when you log on you have to find different ways to DL it, BT works just fine for me and I've gotten games before faster than on NG's, so get over your NG fetish, donkeyfucker!

Conker is suppoused to be an updated version of the 64, "Bad fur day" right?
It does look considerably better than the 64 one, but since I had the original, I doubt my brother and I will pick it up....

And I love seeing Vicman and Nasty bicker....
It is quite amusing

Ken Lobb, the dude who used to work for Nintendo, quoted Conker as being the best looking Xbox game he's seen. And from a few vids and screen shots, he may be right. The game's graphics look insane. Rare has a way of bringing out the best in consoles, and I hope they do the same with a new Killer Instinct.

Sure Rare does. "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" was just SOOOOO good, wasn't it?
I agree that Rare does push any console to the limit, look at Donkey Kong Country for snes. When everyone else was pushing for 32 bit, Rare went and did what most 32bit games couldn't. I mean, that is was capable of doing stuff, graphics and gameplay, that most early 32 but games paled in comparison to.

Imo, it was dumb for Nintendo to lose Rare to Microsoft. And I agree with you about, "Killer Instinct."
Maybe we can finally get a arcade perfect translation for the game, on the X-box.
Or maybe Rare should go third party, and really dominate....

Here. I stole this from my banned forum. It is a side by side comparison of the two versions.
On the left, is the 64 game. And to the right, is the new X-box version. Looks much nicer, and crisper. Over at my banned forum, they seem to think that the device he is holding COULD be a Gameboy.

Grab by the Ghoulies....you can blame that on a quick port. It was pretty much on its way out the door, onto gamecube consoles, until Microsoft took over. They just threw it onto the Xbox and hoped for the best. We're smarter than that.

Killer Instinct would not be relesed for Xbox anyways, it would be for Xbox2, so I would expect graphics that are even better than the arcade, but done in full 3d. If you recall, KI was SGI rendered, but were still sprites.
Perfect Dark sequel will hopefully give Halo a run of it's money as well.


And Rare can't go third party. Microsoft owns their ass.

I have heard that the next x-box, will be considerably smaller than the current one. Apperently, alot of kids were complaining about having lug its' heavy arse over to friends' house, or something. I had heard that in one of them current gaming magz, not sure which.

And considering that the new KI will be shelved for next gen consoles, it should be much better than even I expect. The KI for 64, was a disapointment, to say the least.
And for SGI rendered graphics, they sure fooled me. I loved the Humiliations, and that finisher which had them dancing, or was that the humiliation?
