Most anticipated game of the year?

What game are you all waiting to be released this year?

I have several:
The new Gta: San Andreas
Paper Mario
the new Metal Gear for PS2. once I get my ps2 working
and the new Halo for X-box.

Yeah. Halo 2 should be tight.
I haven't heard much concerning it, only that it has been a LONG time coming after so many delays....

I am also interested in seeing what direction Nintendo will take the Gamecube since it plans to "go against what it's competitors are doing, with on-line and what not.

Xbox - Splinter Cell :Chao Theory

PS2 - Was GT4, but they delayed it

GameCube - Not sure if RE is coming out this year.



And where the hell is Half Life 2?

Kingdom Under Fire's been out for about 3 weeks now go out and buy it Nasty. EDIT: My bad it says 9/20 at EB. I guess pirates, like me, got the game out a whole month before release, LOL!

I am also waiting for the new Viewtiful Joe game....
Don't laugh, alright. I know some might think of it as a gay arsed game, but as an old school enthusiast, I loved its' retro gameplay.

And since it is going multi-platform, will appear on both the Cube and PS2, it should finally get the attention it deserves....

VJ is already on both the Cube and PS2, the PS2 version has that guy from Devil May Cry in it. VJ is a freakin great game, I rented and played the hell out of it a while back, I will be picking it up for my GC collection once it's on sale for sure. (I usually only buy used or slashed priced GC games with the exeption of Pikmin 2 which I got on day 1.)

Way to be a cheap gamer and buy when it is on sale!!
My brother and I are still playing the first VJ, and have yet to finish it. We are stuck on the last boss, and hate it when you die, that you have to fight all those old bosses before the last one....
Plus, I have the import version, for some reason, and it is kinda hard to follow the plot.

And, I didn;t know there was a VJ anime show coming out. Doesn't suprise me, since all most all cartoons nowadays are going for that anime look, Mega Man NT, Sonic x, etc....

www.cheapassgamer.com , one of the best sites on the internet for gamers. Half my gaming collection was purchased from deals I found on that site. I ended up spending about $100 total on 13 of the games I have in my collection becuase of cheapassgamer.

Nice site, Nasty. I will be buying some Gamcube games there....

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the new Resident Evil 4 that is planned for the cube...

Who else in getting a liitle tired of the whole Resident Evil franchise. Outbreak for the PS was a nice change, but since I don't have broadband, nor does my PS work right now, I could not fully enjoy it....

Capcom will milk the series as long as they can. Although the new GC one looks completely different and is a nice change.

Personally, I think Capcom should take a run at Gran Turismo. They had a few bad racing games in the past, but I'm sure if they put all their efforts behind a racing sim, they could rival GT.

Personally, I have always enjoyed playing the Silent Hill games over RE....
Especially, silent hill 2 for ps2. That game scared the crap out of me, and the plot was quite nice. The only thing that pissed me off, is the whole thing with Maria,and the girl that resembled her...

With the ending, although there are five possible, almost all were disapointing, to say the least...
I was expecting more I guess. But I still loved it....
