Just bought this game at Sam Goody on a whim and it\'s a lot of fun so far. The enemy Mechs leave a spectacular explosion when you destroy them. The way buildings are obliterated by weapon fire looks cool to, especially when eleminated large enemy targets like the large communications tower.

As for controls, its quite similiar to HALO so players of that game should find this one very user friendly.

I hope if a sequel is ever made they\'ll take some elements from Armored Core in regards to making your Mech upgreds more customized.

I don\'t doubt that. Even though I can\'t get XBL I tried out the multiplayer againt CPU players and was really awesome watching a city crumble around you while you battle other robots. The weapons are great and the explosions are spectacular! The variety of Mechs you can choose from in Multi-Player is very impressive to from the slow but very big badass robot Atlas to smaller faster ones like Catapault. I wish I had broadband for XBL because I see a lot of potential for team battles on this game.
 
This game is off da hizzook, but its the only live game I have so far:(
 
I would love to, but I dont have moto GP or Live yet (I get live tues). But I can rent it!:thumbup:
 
I guess one way to turn the tide againt other mechs would be grabbing the power-ups during battle and aquiring better firepower. Doing strafe attacks and using the jetpacks to keep mobile to make it harder to hit you might help to.
