Since Aaron asked here ya go Adam: http://www.nextgengamers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=24884&postcount=20

Michael Moore's biggest achievement is getting his movies labelled as documentaries, because once ppl think it's a documentary they go into it expecting nothing else put the truth since that is what a documentary is aimed to do "show the truth on a subject" they think his films are honest and for the most part truthfull. In reality that couldn't be farther from the truth! Michael Moore out and out lies, distorts, hacks together, and otherwise pulls the wool over your eyes with his films, it's only the leftist media that allows this to go on w/o repercussion to his fame/notoriety. Read up on this character and learn what he's done to see he doesn't care about the truth, he just cares about his own bottom dollar and trying to make the American right look bad. Michael Moore even said that the insurgents in Iraq were revolutionaries who would surely win and deserved to! These same insurgents who are behending innocent civilians that you see all over the news. Michael Moore HATES America, this is not my opinion it's come straight from his own mouth, he wants to see our society and way of life come to an end!

Seriously, anyone who watches Fahrenheit 9/11 NEEDS to know that that film is pure BS and full of so many lies, logical inconsistencies, and out and out Bush smearing that to call it a documentary is more than dishonest, it's criminal.

That's your choice based on your own reasons but you shouldn't let a lying piece of crap like Michael Moore influence your decision.

Dodgeball: 5/10

Kinda lame, it was a 100% cookie cutter comedy with jokes that didn't really make me smile all that much. Hopefully Ancorman is better.
I bet you didn't sit through the whole credits to see the funniest part of the movie... MILKSHAKE!

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

Then you guys missed one hilarious scene that made the whole movie worthwhile.

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

I rented "Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrells" and it was a very good movie. 8.7/10. It's made by the same guy who made "Snatch" and has alot of the same actors. It came out before "Snatch" and isn't as well known but it's VERY good.

I also rented "Ocean's 11" and it was a good movie aswell 8.5/10.

Scary Movie 3. Just wanted to check it out as I have the first 2 on DVD. This was one bad movie (my opinion)

Shrek 2. Can't say that I liked it more than the first one, but it was very good. CG is starting to get insane in terms of realism.

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

If they could only do human body hair right CGI would be ALOT more believable, as it stands ppl look way too plasticy in CGI.

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

Vicky..your right, the hair is not believable, but I stil think it is great CG.

I fell asleep watching Scary Movie 3...

Personally, I think it's the animation. I've seen some incredible stills over at CGtalk.com, but have never seen animation that matches.

By the way, I just got back from watching Aliens vs Predator, and shit, that was one awesome movie. That hell with the critics and their, "there's no character development" Did they not read the title? It's "ALIEN vs PREDATOR" not, alien vs predator vs people. In fact, I wish there was more monsters and less people. Damn, to be able to finally see these two on the screen at the same time was the greatest moment in a movie (my opinion)

It seem more of a Predator movie than Alien, but that's okay, since I'm a more of a predator fan. The only thing I didn't like was the location. Damn, it, I want to finally be able to see either the alien of the predator's world (where they come from) not some pyramid. Anyway, nice to see some up to date CG on the monsters. I'll be getting the DVD for sure.

I watched "The Talented Mr. Ripley" yesterday and it was pretty good movie: 8.3/10

I also watched "The Bourne Supremacy" a week ago and enjoyed it, can't wait for the 3rd movie to come out: 8.6/10

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

i recently seen AvsP and I dont really know what to think because there was a bunch of parts in it that made me think WTF...

Re: Latest Movie Thread #2

I was disapointed with AVP to say the least. For me, the pg-13 rating really killed it by not being as graphic or violent as the others. Cross over movies never appealed to me, especially Freddy Vs. Jason.

I enjoyed SpiderMan2, but only because I love Kirsten Dunst. She is so damn hot, for a red head....
