Just got back from a awesome RPG marathon!

My local comic book shop had a big 24 hour gaming marathon, tons of people showed up! (about 19) We played everything from Warhammer to the good ole pen and paper stuff, and I need not say drank tons of sprite remix and all those other tastey standard drinks that went extreme! They even set up a microwave in the game room for hot pockets!


Anyways, i'll get the pics up!

Now if your wondering why most of us are wearing wacky clothes it's cuz we all raided the cosplay closet and decided to play our favorite heroes between turns, check out all the great stuff to wear! That's Gina modeling some of the goods! *whistles*

Later on that night Melinda even put on a performance with her band "The Rings" for us while we turned up the heat on some Kobolds (I play the accordian!):

I hated the dancing, I felt like saying to her: "hell no bitch! I ain't down with that!" But she woulda hurt me.....


We had a great time though, can't wait to do it again, I already pressed my RPG night shirt and slacks!

good god im glad to hear those are fake. i was pretty sure but i didnt want to come in here making fun of them if i wasnt for sure or not, lmao.
 
Believe me tabletop "gamers" don't look like that their worse! Big reason why you don't want to wear the geek label. :sick:

Who spends their life in front of their computer pissing away that geek stereotypes shouldn't be believed and who deals with table top "gamers" every other day at school, at various conventions, and other events while representing/running a college organization w/ over 100 people involved? I've met and experienced enough "geeks" to know most people would run in horror than be seen as one. Being a geek ain't only what you like it's how you act as well.

Stereotyping is pretty moronic when it pertains to race or sex but when it pertains to morons who wear a label and in doing so act as if it gave them props or access into some secret elite group I'd say the stereotype fits. When you hype your "label" you hype your pathetic excuse to fit into a behaviorial subtype. Whether it be a jock, rocker, thug, or a geek. It's all high school bullshit that people seem to latch onto instead of growing up and being an individual.

They'd like be in the mall lookin at purses together and Sonic would grab Vic's ass then vic would go crazy and grab sonic and throw him up on to a table of purses and climb up on him and they'd get freaky infront of a gathering croud.
