import cars....
Aside from my obvious banning from that other gaming forum, I have also been banned from www.honda-forum.com, where I called myself MoparKid. The thing is, I don't hate imports, I just prefer domestics.
However, with most of the car companies merging with imports car manufacturing, I doubt that there is a difference between the two now.
We have Mopar who has ties with Mistubishi, Hyndai, Mercedes, etc.
Gm with Toyota, and I am sure others.
And ford with Mazda and others that I forgot...
Anyway, back on topic, I was just wondering if any one else here is a die hard car guy like myself. Most people just use a car to get from point A to point B, but they are much more to me....
I love how you see these young kids pimping their cars out with all that performance crap. I have seen small engine cars, like a Civic, have an oversized muffler tip sticking out of the body's frame, and I have laughed for hours.... Those small cars with large mufflers sound terrible. And they must know that there will be no substantial hp gain with that small engine in most imports. Other than that, I do have great respect for those import rice burners that can go head to head with v8's.
I have seen some little Civic spank a Mustang gt at local tracks.
Here are my past rides:
1995 Dodge Neon. 5 speed with 2.0 DOHC
1988 Merkur Scorpio. The german variation of the Ford Taurus.
1993 Dodge Shadow. Automatic with a 3.0 V6. modded like crazy with custom performance crap.
And my last car was a 1990 Ford Mustang Gt. auto with the 5.0 V8.
unfortunately, it was broken into while parked behind my house. And gutted, they stole the leather seats, and smashed all windows.
