I got a interview!

Friday at 1 I got a interview at Elder-Beerman's!

Finally something for my efforts! And I bet I will get the job too! The hiring guy seemed pretty eager to setup a interview, I was at the mall and went their by myself just to ask about my app and am rewarded with a interview! he only has part time available now but it's a start.
 
damn im surprised you didnt get more than one interview. but oh well. see, they like it when you follow up on your application and show them you're interested in the job. good luck.
 
I guess, the first place i talk to about and I get an interview! If I could drive it'd be alot easier to go follow up with places, I only got the chance to do it today cuz we had to stop at the mall and I ran off to talk to the guy.
 
yeah, but you know it works well to call them also and ask them if they ever looked at your application, when the next possible time to come in for an interview would be, etc.

but hopefully this elder-beerman thing works out so you dont have to follow up on the other ones anyway.
 
Just got back from my interview! The guy said I did really good and also quote: "fantastic interview"



He was planning on having the department manager come talk to me also and set me up but she wasn't there today so monday or tuesday he's gonna call and have me come in to talk to her, and then I have a job! Only part time, and I can work in either mens or housewares, I'd like either but he said mens is the best choice for me since I want full time and that I will have the best chances in mens to get it, plus it's a fun department to have.

Part time with EB is no less than 15 hours and full is no less than 32, so I can actually get a decent amount of hours part time, especially since he said mens is the shortest on employees, and I could possibly get full time also!
