Happy Rhodes (new CDs)

I finally managed to acquire two CDs from Happy Rhodes: Warpaint and Building the Colossus.

This person's vocal ability and range is really impressive. If I didn't know better from checking the album credits I could mistakenly think there was more than one singer performing. Apparently she has the skill to sing in 4 Octaves.

Not sure about the genre wich is why I put those Realplayer samples in my post. I guess it could be Indy music or Trip Hop.

I would group her in with other other great peformers like Alison Goldfrapp, Sarah Mclachlan, Dido, and maybe Emiliana Torrini.
