Halo 2 or Half Life 2

My friend and I were discussing this and I thought it would be a good question for here, so here it goes what game do you guys think will be better Halo2 or half life 2, i say halo but my friend said half life what do you guys think?

Halo 2....I like the premise of Halo better then Half Life. Not sure if Halo 2 and Half Life 2 will be differnet then the prequeals, but from playing the firsts ones..I like Halo better.

Well I voted for Half Life 2, I can't wait for Halo 2 and it will most likely be a great game. But Half Life 2 just has more inovation and is helping to push gaming in the direction it needs to go. (Thats my thoughts now, but they might all change when Half Life 2 is released... whenever that is.)

Oddly enough, I'd have to go with Half-Life 2 (odd in that I've never played the original). I've seen the trailers, pictures, and pretty words of Halo 2, and yet a simple preview video from the UK's Xbox Gamer seemed far more fascinating then the intense actioner of Halo 2.

The scene in mind was the character (Half-Life) running around a level surrounded by dog-like aliens. Instead of blasting them with an assault rifle, the character was tossing a meat-like substance (eggs?) into the fray whereupon the aliens would devour it (apparently this is the only thing keeping you breathing) and if an enemy happened to be be near it, they too would be devoured. What would happen if you ran out of the food?

The whole trailer was quite intense!

Well the first half life was ok...I thought I was going to be alot better then it was. I though Halo had great controls, and I also enjoyed the grafix..;)

Half Life 2 will blow Halo 2 away. That magnet gun thing alone will innovate gameplay singlehandly while Halo 2 will bring nothing that new to the table, IMHO.

Nothing new to the PC realm, but Halo 2 will be bringing a lot of new things console only gamers have never experianced.

I'll wait till I play both to choose.

I am looking forward to Half Life 2 more than Halo 2 only for the graphics and AI.

H2, lol, HALO of course. Although you can mod the graphics of half life 2 better.
