Got back from the range today with some new arms we bought recently.
Well, since sonic isn't here to be a ass about this post i'll make it.
2 days ago we went to AIM, which is a internet wholesaler of surplus, and new/used firearms and accessories, amd of course surplus ammo. We went cou my bro had about 110 dollars he wanted to blow on something and recently AIM had got in some of the same pistols as I bouhgt from them earlier, but these are totally unissued for only 10 dollars more, so he got one for the exact amount he had. And my dad had his tax check to play with, and since he never really gets to buy anything to often he wants we looked at some CETME spanish assault rifles. We looked at some different ones earlier but they weren't as nice, the new ones were 50 dollars more but have the original wood stocks and they also have a brand new stainless steel reciever instead of cast metal like the others. So when we looked at the second rifle they brought out to us we were sold. I had researched what to look for when buying and this one seemed pretty soilid, and looked perfect too. Our total cost was about 650 dollars, 110 for my bro's pistol, 360 for the rifle, and a bunch for ammo and spare magazines.
I spent the past 2 days tearing the pistol and rifle apart cleaning them and lubing them for shooting. Today we went to try them, as well as my bro's Mauser, and his new 49 dollar cheapo Russian M44. I also brought my SKS which now has a scope and bipod, and my own CZ52, plus our .22 rifle.
Needless to say we shot for about 4 hours, saw some other sweet rifles, shot our own sweet rifles and the 3 of us nearly broke our shoulders on the 8mm bolt action rifles. The CETME is awesome, it's our first and only pistol grip assault rifle. And the coolest part is the action, the charging handle is on the left towards the end of the barrel, a small lever flips out and you can pull it back and turn it up to lock it open, insert mag, the slap the handle down and it will fling shut and the handle will fold itself down, EXACTLY like a MP5.
If anyone here has Rainbow Six 3 go setup a game with the G3A3 and try it out, it's the same rifle as a CETME minus the scope.
