Getting better...
A while back, I created an old man character, which was going to be part of the intro to my new demo reel. From April till about 2 weeks ago, I managed to finish almost all my characters (7 characters, one main car, and a ton of extra things here and there). Well, I've gotten a lot better at Maya since April, so I decided to go back and remodel everything. You might think this is a waste of time, but it's not. My models now will have less polys, so they will render faster, plus, I'm able to be more creative this time around, as I'm beginning to get the hang of maya. Any way, here's the first of many models. Only 4 hours to model 2 hours of texture:shock: There's still a lot to do, like the body, hair, eyebrows, and clean up work, but I just wanted to show what I was able to do in less than a day.
(Although I did this without reference, my influenced was from Geri's Game, a short film created by Pixar. Probably will end up looking different)
These forums have stalled lately so I'll try to update as much as possible.
