GameBoy player.

Just curious what everyone thinks about the new Gameboy player add on for the GCN. If you have no clue what I am talking about Nintendo annouced an attachment for the GCN that uses the high speed port on the bottom of the GCN and allows you to play GBA games on your TV through the GCN. Also noted you can link your GBA to the GCN and use it as the controller.
Is this a smart move for nintendo to increase GBA sales?
Would you consider buying one?

Also just another thought I had. With flash memory technology being semi cheap could nintendo turn the GBA into a VMU type device? I know they already have some minigames that can be unlocked but being able to download games and save them on a GBA cartrige would be more of a reason for people to buy a GBA.

Even though portable systems were meant to be portable (obviously) it\'s nice to be able to play them on the big screen. I have a Nomad, and it can hook up the TV.

This is a good thing Nintendo has going here. It can only help them.

This gives some of us on the fence about the Gamecube more of a reason to buy it. GBA support on a large screen sounds sweet. 2 consoles in one is what is driving the PS2. This will help the GC. I know I'm interested! :)
