Dude the motogp 2 demo owns!

I have been playing it on the OXM demo disc, fricken awesome! Sound is great, graphics are awesome, and the bikes respond better. This version seems SOOO much faster than the first, and the crashes look brutal with the new angles. I can't wait!
 
yea ive put about 3 hours into so far. Just hate how i can't do manual the way i like it.

Ya manual on the sticks is tedious. One thing I love bout this version is the bikes will lift the front wheel just from taking off hard. And that camera view down on the ground that swings around is jaw dropping.
 
Sounds great. My OXM subscription has been up for about 2 months now though, so I can't see. I may pick it up but it just makes me made that no broadband out here, because it reminds me of playin the first one online. Well that is until I moved farther out. Well glad everyones enjoying it so far!

Christ this game is hard. I can only clear half the challenges...and ****ers on live still crash into you on purpose.

lol yeah it's much harder then the first one. The challenges are proving to be a pain in the ass for me as well.
 
im finding this game hard too. I got a 50, 10, 50, 50 bike too. Mofos keep taking me out!
 
lmao, they make it to easy to acidently delete your damn bikes! My precious pink bike was in the 30's. I was trying to load my file and was mashing the A button but I guess I bumped the Y button, all gone, i'm rebuilding it now but damn that sucked. It's not just me either, my bro caught himself having to cancel a delete several times so far. I did get all the locked bikes unlocked, hello rossi!

I managed to get 50 for accel and top speed, but that's it. GOD DAMN those challages. This game is going to make me bust my Xbox......so rather than do that, I'm returning the game ASAP.

They took all the fun out of the game. Cutting into the grass...even slightly, causes your bike to flip, and there's something really wrong with the engine noise. It's doesn't sound right.
 
Ya it is hard but there's nothing wrong with that, I think it's cool to really have to earn all your credits, in the origonal you could really throw a custom together quickly which made the game really easy. I think this version is vastly superior to the first in nearly every way.
 
There's a little thing called Fun factor. Hard games are frusterating...not fun. Good products have balance. MotoGP 1 had it. Moto GP2 does not. It WAS made for hardcore motobike racing fans and not for the average racing fan. Take a look at my reviews. I have more racing games reviewed than any other genre, making me a fan of the genre. MotoGP2 does not appeal to me.

And **** the online play. When dickheads are always cutting you off and crashing into you, it's no longer fun.

Unlike some people, not everyone has the time to "learn" the game. I want to be able to get into the game and play right away or you know what.......I'm not going to play it. So **** it. It's my opinion.
