Donkey Konga game and controller

Have you all seen this new game that Nintendo is planning on releasing. I think it might already be out. It reminds me of Dance Dance Revolution, where you pound on the Konga drums that are included to move Donkey around the screen in a platform-esque game.

I had originally thought it was childish and dumb, but I tried it at my local Electronic's Boutique. And I loved it.

It will really be a fun party game.....

Say I saw some footage from E3 videos. Looked like samba de amigo (spelling) for the dreamcast. I never buy into games like these, because you'll never use the controllers again.

Just like those dancing games, with the floor pads...who buys this stuff??

Yes, most peripherals in the past have faded away into existence.
For example, the Super nes mouse. It was only used for Mario Paint, and nothing else.
What about the super scope 6. Nice little gun for the snes. Had about a handful of games, and vanished.
It would seem that, aside from the new modems for the current consoles, that peripherals, are for selling gamers crap that they don't need.

The Sony Eye cam thing is a nice idea, but where are all the games that Sony promised would suppourt it???

And for that matter, why has Nintendo insisted on releasing a modem for the cube if they don't plan on fully utilizing it.

Shaggy, I don't know who uses those floor pad things. I guess nerds who want to re-create that arcade experience. I know that Konami marketed them for the PS with Dance Dance Revolution.
