Dish Network is STUPID!

No MTV, CBS on DISH

EchoStar service pulls local stations, Nickelodeon in continuing dispute about rates.
March 9, 2004: 6:35 AM EST



NEW YORK (Reuters) - EchoStar Communications Corp. pulled from service Tuesday 16 of Viacom's local CBS stations and 10 of its national channels after the companies failed to agree on contract terms and prices.

Viacom (VIA.B: Research, Estimates) said in a statement it was "dismayed and disappointed" by the action, which affected channels such as MTV and Nickelodeon, after a deadline expired early Tuesday.

What a buncha morons, like there sales are any good in the first place. Now I will definitly not get Dish Network when I can stay with my regular cable or get Direct TV instead... dumb move.

No doubt, who would have chose them before this happened? I don't know anyone who has Dish Network at all and have only seen like 2 dishes for it on peoples houses anywhere around me. Anyone who would get it now is just a moron.

I actually know two people that had dish network... and they both hated it and went with digital cable very quickly. But all TV sucks IMO.
