Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

The commerical for the movie made it look like another battlefield earth kind of movie, aka super soul sucking piece of crap.

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

Looks quite nice, this game sure came together quick, and looks wonderful, why the hell can't doom III get a hint.

Maybe it's here so quick cuz they forgot about a thing called gameplay?

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

Just bought the game on Wednesday. Just playing the training mission was an enjoyable romp. I definitely like their use of Riddick's shadow for direction as opposed to using a cursor as seen in most first person shooters.

Will I have an unbiased review of this game, especially considering I've loved every game Starbreeze has ever been involved in?

I heard this game is awesome. I will be acquiring it soon, so I will be able to tell you how it turned out. I hope it's not like most movie liscenced games. :D

I don't think it is, I have seen the reviews for this title and they are all very high. It uses normal mapping and me being a graphics whore will rent it just for that, but Doom III still ownz it. This is just a taste.

I don't like Vin too much but I will watch the movie probably, it might be very good and I wont know until I watch it.

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

I beat the game last night and if it wasnt for some clipping and anti aliasing issues during the entire game I would give it a 10/10 but for these reasons and one small portion of the game where you have to go into the sewers it gets a 9/10 for a rental and a 8/10 for a purchase, the purchase score is lower becuase the game is SO short.

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

The game is awesomoe who can say it is not? I dare you! :D

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

looking for demo

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

please send me demo

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

the graphics look AMAZING! one of the best so far, with ease.

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

There isn't a PC demo jaikini, the game so far is Xbox only which has a demo on an OXM (Offical Xbox Magazine) disc, but the demo was created before the game was finished so it's crap. If you do however have an Xbox definitly rent this title it is a great game. It would be a definite purchase for me but it is too short to make the $50 price tag worth it. Maybe when it drops to around $20 I will pick it up and play through it again. (Small amounts of replay value)

Re: Chronicles of Riddick goes Gold!

I have the game and don't think it's short at all. I'm going for all 59 packs of smokes and not being stealthy. I'll go all ninja stealth next time around.
